Milton is on the edge of the Niagara Escarpment which is a UNESCO world biosphere reserve. It is home to several historical buildings, two museums, and several parks making getting back to nature very easy. There are many recreation opportunities in Milton including a velodrome that has drop in times available. In addition, there are some incredible golf courses to choose from and lots of hiking on the nearby Bruce Trail.

Nestled in an older residential area, the fairgrounds become a showplace for all things rural for three days every September. It’s a lively celebration featuring traditional fall fair competitions like equestrian events, kids’ pet show, baby contest, truck and tractor pulls, the smashing demolition derby, and a midway, complete with thrill rides and games.
