How to Make March Break Special When You Have to Work

March break is only days away. You have not put the kids in camp and you are not going away on holiday this year. It happens. You have been working like a dog all year and you will be doing the same over spring break.

The kids have a sitter but you want to make March break feel special; not just a logistical challenge. Taking them to a show or a sporting event on a weeknight when bed times are flexible is a great way to work something fun into your schedule. If you simply cannot bear the thought of going out after a long day at work, there are weekend options for all of our suggestions. They range from free activities to pretty pricey, but there is something for every age group and interest.
