FlyOver Canada is a 30-minute, $16-million flight simulation ride at Vancouver’s Canada Place. Get to know the splendours of Canada in 4-D as you enjoy 30 minutes of a life-like flying experience with the latest in projection and ride technology.
Before boarding your flight, you will be reintroduced to Canada with a special preshow presentation created by Montreal-based company Moment Factory called UpLift. Once on board, hang on for a thrill ride. The huge dome screen with high-definition footage, music, wind, scents and mist effects will have you flying from the Canada’s east to west coasts over the most spectacular scenery the country has to offer, including Niagara Falls, Parliament Hill, icebergs, and the Canada Place sails for an exhilarating eight minutes.
This world-class attraction opened in Vancouver in June 2013. Financed by the Aquilini Investment Group, the owners of the NHL Vancouver Canucks, the project was filmed by Whistler-based Sherpas Cinema in a helicopter and plane outfitted with special high-definition cameras.
