Art Wheelers Public Art Bike Tour

Art Wheelers Public Art Bike Tour

The Art Wheelers is a public art bike tour in Vancouver. Launched in the Spring of 2013, the tour starts in picturesque Coal Harbour and heads straight through downtown on dedicated bike lanes towards the Seawall around False Creek.

Participants are invited to bring their two-wheelers and enjoy a diverse cross-section of Vancouver’s landscape and come away understanding the role of public art in this city. Learn about many of the hundreds of works of art that were researched and analyzed for this project from your guide. Examine and discuss sculptural installations and unusual murals, mosaics, architecture, landscaping and fountains with your group.

The Art Wheelers tour was developed by local art experts and bike enthusiasts Carol-Ann Ryan and Rosemary Lennox. Their mission is to bring understanding and appreciation to public art in Vancouver.

The tour takes approximately two to two and a half hours to complete and covers 9km. It is suitable for ages 12 and up and good for all biking abilities. Private tours and group booking are also available.
