If you are looking for more kid-friendly Canada Day activities to keep them happy, there are a slew of free events happening in Major’s Hill Park and Jacques Cartier Park in downtown Gatineau that are more suitable for kids ages 3 to 12. The best part is that a free Canada Day shuttle bus connects Major’s Hill Park to Jacques-Cartier Park; and the day is capped-off with a massive fireworks finale visible from any vantage point downtown.
