###Movies Under the Stars: Rise of the Guardians (2012) PG

What: Come watch a movie under the stars on Friday night starting at dusk. Bring your lawn chair and blankets to sit in front of the big screen. Cancellations due to poor weather or schedule changes will be posted on the Grand River Conservation Authority website, on GRCA Facebook or mentioned on Twitter @grandriverparks.

When: Friday, September 4, 2015 from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm

Where: Shade's Mills Conservation Area, 450 Avenue Rd., Cambridge

How: Free with park membership or $10 per vehicle; meet at Shade's Mills Diamond Shelter

###Monarch Migration Hike

What: See the migrating Monarch Butterflies before their long journey to Mexico. Join the nature guide and use butterfly nets to catch monarch butterfly relatives. Learn how other butterfly and moth species survive the winter. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

When: Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to noon

Where: Laurel Creek Conservation Area, 625 Westmount Rd., Waterloo

How: Free with park admission; no registration required. Meet at the baseball shelter

###Evening Campfire and Hike

What: Come settle in by the fire and roast marshmallows, tell stories and stay warm. Then venture out with our nature guide for an exploratory hike in the evening, with wildlife such as bats, owls and moths. Dress warmly. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

When: Sunday, September 6, 2015 from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm
