Calgary Water Parks Perfect for Cooling Off This Summer

With temperatures soaring high this summer, Calgarians are looking for ways to keep cool this summer. The great news is there are a number of Calgary water parks with wading pools and spray features that are loads of fun for the whole family and free of charge. If you are looking for bigger thrills, you can always head over to Village Square Recreation Centre for water slides and wave pools.

###Bowness Park What: Calgary’s oldest spray park located in Bowness Park in a nice shady area next to a playground with picnic tables and plenty of green space

###Canmore Park

What: Canmore Park’s Butterfly Spray Park has multiple spray features for children of all ages. The park itself is large but there is no playground nearby.

What: Eau Claire has two wading pools side by side; one with sprayers. There is also a toddler playground in the park.
